The Farnborough Airshow wrapped up after a number of key spectacular displays in the sky. Zooming through the skies were super jets, including the Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II fighter jet. The supersonic fighter put on a show for the crowd, stopping in flight, hovering and then turning on the spot. This year Farnborough also hosted the first appearance for the Boeing 737 MAX. Another highlight of the show was the famous Red Arrows who participated in a fly-by with an Airbus A350 XWB. The sight of the massive passenger airliner flying alongside the much smaller planes and successfully flying in-formation was something spectacular to behold. The Airshow was hugely successful and ended with more than USD 100 billion in orders for the various companies on display.
